Purpose of Life

So Sophie, referred to me by the first person who found me (that'd be you Sierra), asked me what I thought the purpose of life was.

I sort of wanted to start answering this with a string of swear words.
LIFE SUCKS. Kay?
I hate life... naw, I just hate the world.

Life's purpose is to....
GET HIGH AND WASTED AND PARTY UNTIL YOU DROP.
Yeah. No. Not at all.

Life's purpose is to lend a hand and show that you're goddamn human. Life's purpose is to learn and to teach, to give and to receive, to bless and to curse. It's everything wrapped into this weird little thing that I like to call the world. I don't agree with it often but hey, it's all we got, right?

Reincarnation

Well, Winter, that's an interesting question. I honestly barely have religious ties but I can try to answer this question... here we go.

If I had to bet on what would happen after death, I'd put my money on reincarnation in some form. It's a safe bet as far as I'm concerned. Everyone claims to have had a past life. Who says everyone's lying? Some are, obviously, but not all of them have to be.

To me, I think that there SHOULD be a resting time between lives, but I think that it's honestly up to the individual. Nobody knows much about reincarnation because we can't accurately recall our past lives and nobody can tell us what happens in between one life and the next.

So I hope that helped. :)

Humanity: A Review

A human being is supposedly an intelligent life form that has a conscience. People tend to throw the words "human", "human being", "inhuman", and "humanity" around way too much- kinda like the word "love".

Alright. Humanity.

Ratings: Cruel, moronic, monotinous, simple, agonizing, slow, INHUMAN.

Things that Work: Poets, imagination, novelists, fantasy, conscience, music, anarchy.

Things that Don't Work: School, Adolf Hitler, genocide, Christianity, "love", politics, racism, sexism, anti-(enter specific religion here) sentiments, hatred, lust... do I need to go on?

See, if I had to 'rate' humanity with one being terrile and five being excellent... it would have to be a negative three thousand with only a few exceptions (there *are* good people in this world somewhere!).

So yeah, that's humanity...

~Unnecessary 'Advertisement' Below!~

HUMANITY: THE ULTIMATE RACE OF DESPERATE ANIMALS
Rated R for "retarted"; may contain sex/nudity, extreme language, disturbing images, graphic scenes, adult content, and terrifying moments.
Coming to a theater near you!

True Love

What is true love?

True love exists. It is very rare and it is very beautiful. If you find it, you are a very lucky person indeed. I have yet to experience even untrue love so I'm not sure how it all works. All I can say is that it's the one thing girls dream about day and night.

To me, true love is the kind where the two are bonded. It's selfless. You live and let live. You let go if you have to. And you always come back when you leave. It's a wonderful thing that everyone deserves to have.

Finding him or her might take a while but when you do... You'll know.

Religious Hatred

Chris brought up a VERY interesting question and I really do feel I should answer it in length.

Religious hatred.
It's a thing that has extended back through time, ever since there was more than one religion, or even more than one form of religion.
There's so much genocide and phobia going on between religious beliefs that it almost makes me SICK of religion altogether (I mean, I don't really have a religion myself, but still).

One of the scariest cases of this hatred being expressed is the infamous HOLOCAUST. I have a certain absolute hatred for this time, mainly because I really love all of my Jewish friends.
Yes, I'm perfectly aware that the Jewish were not the only ones that suffered, but they suffered quite a lot.
This was an insane, cruel act of genocide and if we are not careful, it is almost certain that it will happen again.

It could be happening right now without us knowing about it.
Government cover-ups are not new.

I don't think there is a way to stop religious hatred. No matter what laws or rules will be set down, thoughts and actions will not fully be controlled. There's always one person that's going to disregard everything and break the rules.
There's no way to stop it from happening.

I think we should all shut up, quit whining, and learn to accept each other for who we are and what we believe.
Unless you believe in killing everyone and everything. No respect for life is completely... UGH.

Some Advice ~

Sierra needed advice on her mother's handling her weight problem.

I just want to say, Sierra: This is not your fault. If someone had an addiction to smoking and complained about it, they can't help it. They're ADDICTED. They love it. That's what's going on here.

As for how your mom's handling it... Wow. Why did she have to raise her voice over that? She could have just said, "That's too much food. Next time, only one." No raised voice. No angry. No guilt trip.

You love food and that's understandable. It's hard to stop an addiction. Everyone has low self-esteem. Does that mean all we want is attention? No. We want attention but that's not the reason behind everything we do!!!! Honestly!! We need to vent to let off steam. We can't control other people's attention or pity. If they want to be kind, let them; let them be socially awkward and ignore it too. That is up to them. We vent and people react. Circle of life.

You're not seeking attention. You have a genuine issue. Hope that helps. :) Let me know how it goes.
